Justice Department spokesman Matt Miller said Tuesday that the department will "soon" be filing its appeal in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia, where the ruling came down Monday.

White House spokesman Bill Burton earlier said the administration was exploring all possible avenues "to make sure that we can continue to do this critical lifesaving research."

Asked if it might take new legislation from Congress to counter the ruling from U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth, Burton said all possibilities were being explored. More...

Please Pray for Melanie Pritchard!

Melanie Pritchard is a long time pro-life leader and educator in Arizona. She has dedicated her life to saving the unborn, and is currently struggling with some after effects of a difficult delivery. Her daughter Gabriella is in good health, but mom is in need of prayers after enduring several cardiac events. Please pray for Melanie's good health, and peace for her loving husband Doug.

Attention Candidates: Please fill out our survey and return asap!

Dear Candidate,

Congratulations on your campaign for elective office!

ProLife Arizona is a group of pro life Arizonans dedicated to fairly and honestly informing the voting public about candidates for office.
We do not accept donations from candidates, as we believe that leads to tainted endorsements. We are truly non-partisan, and thus will acknowledge truly pro life candidates in any political party. We believe a candidate's pro-life stances are more important than his/her incumbency.

For the 2010 ProLife Arizona Candidate Survey, please click here. This survey is required of all candidates hoping to be recognized as pro life by our organization. Even if you are not seeking an endorsement, your completion of the survey provides Arizona voters with a more complete picture of the candidates who wish to represent them.

We ask that your survey be returned as soon as possible in order for your candidacy to be considered by our organization. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thank you for your willingness to serve the citizens of Arizona, and good luck to you!

Blessed with LIFE,

About Us

ProLife Arizona was founded in order to provide Arizonans with educated information about candidates' positions on prolife issues. ProLife Arizona places far more value on a candidates willingness and commitment to protect life than it does on the political connections of the organization, or the financial contributions of candidates. This is unfortunately NOT the case of all Arizona prolife organizations. We think it should be.

The board of ProLife Arizona is composed of prolife activists who have years of experience in the prolife movement, and many are longtime former members of Arizona Right to Life Board, or its PAC. David Roney, the Chairman of Prolife Arizona, is a former Board member of Arizona Right to Life, and the past chairman of the Arizona Right to Life PAC.

Candidates running for office may fill out our questionnaire to see if they meet the qualifications for our endorsement. In the interest of time, they may also send us questionnaires from other Arizona prolife organizations.
